Let the light eminate from your exsistence(Amitayusu Sutra 55)

This part,

the 48 vows of Dharmakara Bodhisattva,

is the most famouse ( and/or important)

in the Pure Land school.

However, let’s go beyond tradition

and start to have new view,

like……

Vow (1) If, when I attain Buddha-hood, there should be in my land a hell, a realm of hungry spirits or a realm of animals, may I not attain perfect Enlightenment.

Vow (2) If, when I attain Buddha-hood, humans and devas in my land should after death fall again into the three evil realms, may I not attain perfect Enlightenment.

Vow (3) If, when I attain Buddha-hood, humans and devas in my land should not all be the colour of pure gold, may I not attain perfect Enlightenment”
