イエスは、「狭き門より入れ。滅びに至る道は広く、生命（いのち）に至る道は狭い」と言われました。

”生命（いのち）に至る道”とは悟りに至る道のことです。

この「狭き門」とは、”自我（エゴ）を滅する道”のことです。

”滅びに至る道は広い道”とは、自我（エゴ）を肯定する、エゴに妥協する道です。

道が本物であるかどうかは、エゴを許すかどうかです。

人が本物の修行者であればあるほど、エゴに妥協することはありません。

人は、純粋であればあるほど、自分の心に対して厳しくなるのです。

逆に言えば、エゴに妥協するのは、道を不純にするということなのです。

仏教の修行に興味抱いている人は多いかも知れません。

しかしこれが、”自我（エゴ）を滅する道”であるということを理解している人がどれほどいるでしょうか？

Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For the way to destruction, 

is wide and the way to life is narrow.” The path to life means  the path to enlightenment.

This narrow gate means  the way to suppress and disappear  ego. 

It’s opposite to  the  way of  perdition and/or ego-compromising .

Whether the way is genuine or not,  is whether one allows ego or not .

The more genuine practitioner,  the less compromises with the ego.

The purer one is, the more strict to one’s self .

Conversely, to compromise the ego is to make the way  impure.

Many people may be interested in Buddhist practice,

but how many of them understand that this is the way to suppress and diapearing ego?
